DesignCraftAI transforms resumes into professional portfolio websites with no coding or design skills required. Upload a resume as PDF or DOCX and the AI parses your work history, education, skills and certifications, rewrites the content into compelling narratives, and structures everything into a live, mobile-responsive portfolio with industry-specific templates — minimal, modern, creative or professional — for 50+ professions.
I designed and built the entire product: React front end with a drag-and-drop editor, Node.js and PostgreSQL on the back end, AI resume parsing and content generation with OpenAI, image generation with Fal.ai, and secure payment processing via Dodo Payments. It runs a freemium model — a free plan with AI content, three templates and a shareable link, and a Pro plan adding custom domains and analytics.
The platform has grown to 300+ registered users, with most portfolios going from resume upload to published site in under five minutes. It's deployed on Railway and continuously improved based on user feedback — this very portfolio concept is the product's bread and butter.
